Christina Pohl, PhD, ATC
Co-founder
Dr. Pohl is a neuroscientist with a clinical background in sports medicine & athletic training. She has over 8 years of clinical and research experience serving concussion/mTBI patients, including athletes, civilians, and elite military service members. Dr. Pohl's doctoral work included innovative studies developing and testing ecologically valid solutions for capturing physiological markers of cognitive efficiency to assist with concussion injury response and recovery evaluation and human performance optimization. Dr. Pohl has also previously served as a research scientist for the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBI CoE) at Fort Carson, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is a published author of peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters spanning sports medicine and military medicine. She is passionate about the development of innovative practical solutions to drive health and human performance optimization.
Mitchell Vander Vegt
Co-founder
Mitchell is a solutions architect with a background in technical project and product management for SaaS platforms. He has worked for large public technology and SaaS companies in the consumer product and experience industries. Mitchell has tangible work experience in agile product development, technical solution architecture, and web service design/development. His love of technology and the consumer experience guides his interest in using objective biometrics to present actionable insights.

Our Goals
NeuroScience Innovations will expand our technology solutions to multiple health needs, beginning with Traumatic Brain Injury assessment and management. EMR/EHR integrations will remain a top priority, in order to adapt to our customer needs regarding functional integration - per Digital Health Industry trends reported by Gartner. Eventually, we will want other platforms to replace NSI web apps, and plan to integrate with the new Health Journey. By applying Machine Learning methods to our anonymized biometric data, we will generate proprietary diagnostic and prognostic probability models. Neuroscience Innovations will curate a large user base across our product suite and develop intellectual property with the goal of company acquisition.
